This course covers the Microsoft MOS Objectives in each of the Office applications. It will also cover any additional software as specified. This course compliments the resources that were distributed with the IT Security Training Package given to schools across Saskatchewan. The Information Technology Essentials: PC Hardware & Software course will prepare you to meet the requirements of the CompTIA A+ objectives.
The Cisco CCNA Discovery curriculum provides foundational networking knowledge, practical experience, opportunities for career exploration, and soft-skills development to help students prepare for entry-level careers in IT and networking.
The course provides an introduction to routing and remote access, addressing and network services. It will also familiarize you with servers providing email services, web space, and Authenticated Access. This course prepares you with the skills required for entry-level Help Desk Technician and entry-level Network Technician jobs.
The course provides more advanced configurations of switching and routing protocols, configuration of access control lists, and basic implementation of WAN links. It also provides detailed troubleshooting guidance for LAN, WAN, and VLAN implementations.
